You provided updated current intel and easy to digest breakdowns giving us a "lay of the land" to create an application strategy. You helped my daughter’s chances by focusing her efforts, maximizing her attributes and presenting them in a way to win admission. My daughter and I were deeply satisfied and appreciative of the expertise and kind and supportive approach.
I wanted to share the good news, and thank you so much for all your help through the college application process. Thank you for all your input on my essays, answering all my questions and overall helping me throughout these past few years. Having your guidance has been very encouraging and comforting for me through it all. Thank you so much for everything.
Thank you so much!! I just want you to know that I couldn’t have done it without you! I really appreciate all the work you helped me complete and the help and the deadlines you helped me reach. I also really appreciate how you were able to assist me with writing my essay while still making sure it sounded like me. Roger Williams gave me a scholarship for $98,000 for 4 years and Western New England gave me a scholarship for $136,000 for four years.
I wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the guidance you gave Hansini. Thanks so much for all your recommendations and being there for her during the whole process. We are very very happy about her choice of college and all the credit goes only to you. Before that we didn't even know about Loyola University and now all we are hearing from everyone is that it's a very good choice. The best part is the scholarship she got from Loyola, and it really worked out for us.
I wanted to reach out and thank you for your support throughout my entire college process. I am so grateful and appreciative that I had the opportunity to work with you, as you made sure to answer any questions that I had and to review any necessary materials at any given moment. Thank you for establishing a welcoming environment ever since we started working together. I truly felt comfortable reaching out with any questions.
Thanks so much Alycia. Without you pushing me I wouldn't have gotten in.
Working with Alycia took so much pressure off of our shoulders-- she worked with our daughter to get to know her and help prioritize what she was looking for, opening her up to options she had not previously considered. She helped her create timelines and to meet goals, create or polish up essays, and generally manage every aspect of the college admissions process. She made it easy for us (and prevented the fights that definitely would have occurred if we had tried to manage it ourselves). We went into the admissions process feeling very overwhelmed but Alycia held our hand all the way through and gave us peace of mind. And our daughter ended up with a top choice (with excellent scholarships) that she would have never found without Alycia.
On behalf of Rachel and our whole family, we would like to thank you for your support, assistance and guidance for Rachel’s successful college application and admission. Rachel was admitted to her top college of choice, Rhodes College, majoring in Biomathematics. Rachel received a top merit scholarship and other financial aid for a total of $180,000.00.
1. We believe that this was made possible through your assistance:
Rachel’s application stood out –Rachel worked on her extracurriculars and community involvement and leadership activities with your encouragement.
2. Rachel’ academic accomplishments – Rachel, was even more motivated to improve her academics and ACT scores after we signed up. It gave her a goal and purpose. Alycia made sure that Rachel’s accomplishments were highlighted appropriately.
3. Even with our income level, we still received a substantial amount of aid. Alycia, our expert, also helped us appeal for more aid. We got $16,000 more per year (4K more per year) after appealing. Then, Rachel got $20K more (5K more per year) from the Music Scholarship. Thank you so much again for everything!
We didn't really understand how the whole process worked and you really helped clarify it. We realized that some things were more important than they seem and other things were less important thanks to you. You also answered many of our questions with detail to help us understand certain things better. You are always so reachable, compared to other advisors. If we ever needed to re-do the college process, we would definitely ask for your service again! Also, you really helped my son with his essays. Since every school has different questions and are looking for different qualities and answers, you really helped us understand what each college is looking for. My son received so many acceptances because of your help!
Alycia, you are well versed and talented in your work and profession. Your strong but gentle personality shines through too. I think it is fair to say that my daughter and I think very highly of you.
I just did the math and I received $492,100 in scholarships all thanks to the wonderful work you helped me do on all of my applications.
Hopefully some of my friends will reach out to you as their juniors start the process. We found you too late but you gave us comfort at the end of the process.
Thank you for your support during the process of college applications and decisions. As of right now, I am between Columbia and Northwestern, so I am very excited!
Hello Alycia,
Thank you so much for helping My, she is so happy with your support. Thank you for spending time with her to contribute to her success. Thanks again!
We knew Sam loved math, but we had no idea where to begin to help him develop his interests and skills. Alycia, you were the golden ticket. Watching you and Sam communicate in the first session was mind-blowing because Sam was so comfortable and communicative with you. I got to see my son enjoy the process of answering questions about his future, and I could tell that he felt like you really understood him. Sam has some direction now, and I can see how this clarity will lead to increased exposure to future careers, interests and opportunities. When I asked him about his experiences while working with his consultant, he told me that he felt comfortable and excited about his future. Alycia, you are truly helping him develop a plan for high school, college, and beyond.
You have a talent for this work, Alycia. If I did not have your guidance, I would not have attended college. You made me feel understood, you helped me recall and realize all of my accomplishments, and you gave me the confidence to apply to college. I got a $20,000 academic/hockey scholarship my first year, and a $30,000 scholarship this year because I made the Dean’s List. Thank you.
You have helped me a lot. Simply meeting with you gave me motivation, and you gave me insights into the college admissions process, I would otherwise not know about.
Thank you so much for helping me get into my dream school! I am so happy! I love my classes, my professors and my new friends. I had a competitive GPA in high school, but I was nervous about not submitting any test scores. You helped me elevate my Common Application by reminding me of all of my accomplishments, while encouraging me to sign up for an important leadership position at my high school. You helped me stay organized the entire time, and you offered even more help when we had to make final decisions and look at merit scholarships. I appreciate you so much!
